Compare to Sister’s Blog Month 3: Traveling and Night Pottying
5/14 Day 81 M: A quick post now that Itty Bitty has nursed to sleep, something she hasn’t done in quite a long time, but she was starving for one on one attention and affection. She was being overly spastic, quick to grump, clingy, contrary, and destructive. All signs of a toddler who has not been engaged and is trying every trick in the book to get noticed. She kept waking up Mini Moose too and didn’t want me napping. Meanwhile, mommy is cranky because she can barely find time to pee, let alone eat, finish the laundry, or assess toddler summer wear needs from last year’s wardrobe because a certain baby boy was trying to suck out her eyeballs through her nipples. I suspect a major growth spurt. I’ve said from the start that the first three months were the roughest — and he’ll be three months old this week.
Despite all this we caught several big wees (missed plenty too), and the daily poo. And that’s how you know EC is just part of every day life. When you just go ahead and do it amid the chaos of a rought day because it’s part of the necessities of the day. In fact, it was the highlight of the day, so there’s that!
