Month 5: Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’ – Day 112

Compare to Sister’s Blog  Month 5:  We Have Mobility

Short outing; Prefold no cover

6/14 Day 112 R (16 Weeks):   Happy Four Months!   It has been 16 weeks already and our journey into the 5th month starts today.  My baby is 14lbs and about 24.5 inches.   Mini Moose I predict will be able to sit up for a few moments in a week or two and begin to wiggle worm on the floor forward rather than just pivots and rolls and back strokes.   He already tries to do the breast crawl on the floor and had some surprising launching success on grandmamas carpet.

Last night we had all change-out misses.  Bummer.   Tomorrow is another night!    We had a couple of errands to run and we were dry the first trip with a small potty break when we got there, then dry for two hours in the Mei Tai and we almost made it home but I forgot to pee him at our last destination and as soon as I took him out of the wrap he peed.     We had some big catches and many small misses once we got home.   Those cluster pees really get us in the morning and the evening.

We are still doing flats with no cover on a weewee pad at night, naked during the day when in the wrap or on the floor if near me, prefold no cover for short outings and when I am going to leave the room to do a chore and he’s happy on the floor,  prefold with cover for long outings and places where it takes longer to get to facilities.

  1. Congrats on reaching the four month mark! I wanted to tell you tat I read every post, even though I don’t always comment. (I don’t want to look like a stalker… :P). Those morning cluster pees really get us too, btw.
