Compare to Sister’s Blog: Month 9: Increased Capacity
11/18 Day 269 Su: Today we’re not doing anything. Anything at all. Well, except to go outside for a little while.
Last night was another EC miss. We had our usual “wake up and fuss because I have to pee, but I want to nurse, but I have to pee, but I don’t want to pee and nurse right this second but in like ten seconds”. And then sometimes he’s already peed by the time I peel open a tired eye and sometimes I fall back to sleep before the ten seconds has elapsed. This is not a total bust though because the important thing is that he is still waking to deal with his potty needs whether that be to be pottied or to have his coverless, trifolded flat changed out. You take what you get, and you work with it.
The rest of the day was hit and miss too and went sort of like this: Caught a pee! Missed a pee. Caught a pee! Really, you peed again!? Didn’t you just pee!? Are you kidding me!!! Yah, caught that one! Hah! Please poop in the potty, please poop in the potty, please poop in the potty, Caught the pee! Damn. Missed the poop. Ewww, there’s the broccoli he ate. Catch. Miss. Catch. Miss.
I’d say it was a 50:50 again today. Blame it on the growth spurt and the solids.
