Timeline Birth – Present
September 2009 – Birth, Begin EC Day and Night
March 2010 – 5-6 months – one small load of diapers a week
May 2010 – 8-9 months – Training pants. No diapers at all.
June 2010 – 9-10 months – Increased bladder capacity and signs of preferences.
July 2010 – 10-11 months – Autonomy (fist crawl to potty on her own), Preference Behavior, and Public Pottying
August 2010 – 11-12 months – Confirmed Baby Signing, once in a while (5 hours) no night potty needed
November 2010 – 13-14 months – Begin Night Continence (once a night potty break, up to 6 hours ) and more Independence, first 9 day streak
December 2010 – 14-15 months – Big toilet preference, no outing mishaps
January 2011 – 15-16 months – first 4 week accident free, no night potty breaks, learned “No”.
March 2011 – 17-18 months – Solo use of the Bjorn and preference over Big Toilet, ability to pull down trainers perfected
June 2011 – 20-21 months – Solo use of the big toilet for first time with no help
September 2011 – 23-24 months – begin pulling up pants in addition to underpants after potty
October 2011 – 24-25 months – renewed solo efforts on big toilet
November 2011 – 25 – 26 months – emptying of little potty solo (95-99% independence)
January 2012 – 27-28 months – Solo light switch and hand washing.
